"Life Begins at the End of your Comfort Zone"

There's never a choice that we can ever be certain of and being here at AIESEC in NUS Induction 2017 was one of such choices. However this is not to say that we didn't enjoy our time here because we undoubtedly did. We learnt the ways and ropes of what it takes to be an AIESECer through the various programs planned by our Seniors.

BUILDING

BRIDGES

We started off the day with some good ol' Ice Breakers where we got to know our future colleagues. Some of the games we played involved us sharing our aspirations here and reasons for joining AIESEC.

LEARNING

On a more serious note, we were given a detailed brief on what AIESEC is all about during AIESEC 101. We learnt about the programs that are in store for both us and NUS students. We were also made to internalize the terminology used in AIESEC and the humble beginnings of how all this started. You can say that this was a kind of a crash course.

A TRADITION ON IT'S OWN

Traditions bind us and gives us

a sense of belonging. Here in AIESEC, we too have our own unique form of distinctness. We call it the ROLL CALL. It is a dance that brings all AIESECers in the

world together and there is no limit to how and when we do it. Every LC (Local Committee) has their own Roll Call and we learnt our very own AIESEC in NUS Roll Call. Although it was a culture shock to us, we thoroughly enjoyed the process of learning it and executing the dance.

KEEPING IT

REAL

As we are new to AIESEC, we certainly would be clueless about how our LC run their operations on a day to day basis. Thankfully our Seniors had planned a Simulation which was both engaging and realistic. We were able to experience how each department relates to and depends on one another. At the same time, we got to know our colleagues better and we had fun in the process too.

"All Good Things Must Come To An End"

To sum up our induction journey, we believe that the exposure we had during the camp will undeniably aid us in our future endeavors. As we made new friends and expose ourselves to new challenges. We do certainly hope that as AIESECers, we will be able to bring forth a new generation of youths who are willing to make a change to the world.
