“I guess the best thing about my Global Volunteer experience was stepping out of my comfort zone and venturing to a foreign country where I know nothing about their language. Through the experience, I have learnt to be more independent and aware of the difference in cultures present in the different parts of the world. I met friends from Turkey, USA, Thailand, Korea and Indonesia which granted me a wider perspective of the world in which I live in. Support provided by the local AIESECERS there allowed me to fully immense and experience the culture there instead of just being a tourist”

Bob went to Warsaw, Poland where he volunteered at the International Kindergarten project. He had the opportunity to help conduct lessons for the children there - aged 2-7 years old.
